Feathery Dinosaur Dragon

Normally I do not draw therapod-based or dinosaur-based dragons, so I thought I'd do a big feathery one as an interesting challenge. But the really "interesting" (read: tedious) part came from doing all of those complex patterns as part of the shading (usually I go with one flat color and call it a day). This started from a good place--I was googling what the Actual Confirmed Dinosaur Colors were and saw dinosaur illustrations with black/white feathers and one bright highlight color, usually red or orange. I thought I would use gray as a base with similar black and white feather markings, but use purple as a highlight color because I like purple. But, as I was shading this, I had a friend point out to me what that particular color scheme means to some people, and I liked her idea, SO this might be the beginning of a series. I don't know. We'll see.
